Housed in a new location on Bienville St, Irene’s remains one of the most desired dining spots in the city. The restaurant is owned by Irene DiPietro, with many of her family members assisting in its day-to-day operations. It offers an array of Sicilian-inspired dishes, ranging from Oysters Irene to Lasagna Bolognese, with many delectable options in-between!  Guests begin their culinary experience with a complimentary serving of bruschetta. The wait staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable.  The atmosphere is typical Italian—loud and festive, with an array of mouth-watering aromas filling the air. The restaurant offers an extensive selection of wines, with a concentration on Italian fine wines. I can honestly say that we have had such great times and delicious food during each of our numerous visits.
