Housed in what was once a pharmacy, Gautreau’s is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. It has no signage, just the street numbers on the exterior wall to the right of the main entrance. The food, consisting of French American cuisine, has been consistently spectacular during each of our visits. You can tell this is a local hotspot from the minute you enter through the restaurant’s main entrance. The atmosphere is cozy with soft lighting, which lends itself to a nice, romantic dinner. Noise level can be a bit loud at times due to the small size of the dining room. Favorite dishes include Duck Confit, Roasted Duck Breast, Sautéed Shrimp, Foie Gras Torchon, Carrot Cake accompanied by Rum Raisin Ice Cream.
