Serving traditional French Creole cuisine in a uniquely New Orleans atmosphere. Dining at Galatoire’s is all about the experience! The key to achieving this experience is to secure a table in the main lower-level dining room, which is often not an easy task. Patrons who frequent this establishment have developed a relationship with a server, who then provides his or her contact information to be used to secure a future table. Reservations are taken only for the second-floor dining room.
Galatoire’s is one of the few restaurants in the city that enforces a strict dress code. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket after 5pm every evening and all day Sunday. If you arrive without a jacket, they will gladly provide you with one from their private stash. The dress code for lunch is business casual, with gentlemen being required to wear collared shirts.
