In the past, the building (built in the late 1880s) that now houses Coquette was, at some point, previously a grocery store, residence and auto parts store. It was originally opened in 2008 by Chef Michael Stoltzfus, with Chef Kristen Essig joining him in 2016. Serving southern cuisine with an international flare. During our last visit, Judge and I ordered the 5 Course Blind Tasting (all at the table must participate). It was fabulous—Highly Recommend!! Coquette offers seating on both the first and second floor dining rooms as well as at the bar, which accommodates 12 people. It’s a popular gathering place for locals. Wait staff provided impeccable service during each of our visits.
