Compere Lapin (French for “brother rabbit”), located within the Old No. 77 Hotel and Chandlery, is owned and operated by St Lucia-born Chef Nina Compton, the recipient of numerous culinary awards and accolades. It opened its doors in 2015, serving a wonderfully crafted infusion of Caribbean, French, Italian and American cuisine. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully designed industrial space, garnering lots of natural lighting, with brick walls and an array of eclectic seating options. Attention to detail is a staple. Presentation, flavors, and service have always been impeccable during our visits to this unique CBD/Warehouse District establishment. The Biscuits are to die for, Spiced Pig Ears/Smoked Aioli are a must try, and the Curried Goat/Sweet Potato Gnocchi/Cashews is a combination of unique deliciousness!
